Chambord Estates

1. Group Membership:
You must be a member of the Chambord Estates In-World Group and assigned the "Chambord Resident" role in order to rent a parcel here.

2. Boundaries & Security:
As Chambord Estates is a publicly accessible Adult region, no ban lines are permitted. A security orb set to parcel size will be provided free of charge and can be controlled by the renter. This will prevent ban lines and still keep your private residence secure.

Do not ban estate managers from accessing your parcel. We will not encroach on your parcel unless absolutely necessary and with prior consent or notification. Banning an estate manager will result in eviction with no refund.

3. Visitors:
You may have whomever you like visit your unit and of course the public areas, as long as they agree to adhere to the rules and guidelines provided here and any requests of Chambord Estate managers. Anyone in violation of rules and guidelines who is not a resident is subject to being ejected and possibly banned from the region.

4. Object Entry/Rezzing/Sounds:
As a resident you have permission to create/enter objects into the region. Please keep these objects limited to your parcel. If you rez items within the publicly accessible areas, make sure you clean them up promptly.

Visitors will not have permission to create or enter objects. If for some reason a visitor absolutely must have the ability to enter objects, please contact estate management.

Your parcel sound settings in "About Land" should always be set to "Restrict gesture and object sounds to this parcel" and "Restrict Voice to this parcel".

5. Rent:
Rent is paid via CasperLet rental units. The rental unit terminal is located on a complimentary platform on your parcel. This keeps the ground floor clear of unsightly rental kiosks. Feel free to install a teleport to the rental unit if you like. Otherwise, bookmark the landmark for your rental unit.

7. Skyboxes & Platforms:
For long-term tenants, all skyboxes and platforms must be built above Z:1500 minimum and no higher than Z:2500.

For short-term parcel tenants, please do not build platforms, skyboxes, or rez any other structures or decor in the sky. As it is a short-term fully-furnished rental, you should not be "building" anything at all. If you would like a place to rez things for unpacking and not be on the ground while doing so, please use your complimentary rental unit's mini platform.

8. Prohibited Activity:
Chambord Estates is a residential use region and as such, parcels are intended for private residential use only. This means no clubs, stores, etc are permitted on the region. Please do not participate in solicitation, escorting, or financial-domination on your parcel or the region. Violation of this will result in ejection from group, eviction from parcel with no refund, and possibly an estate ban depending on severity.

Breedables, weapons, animated or rotating textures, heavily scripted items, roaming animals and other similar items are not permitted. Please do not place any of these on your parcel as they strain sim resources that are shared by all as well as wander off of your parcel and encroach onto other properties. If scripted items on your parcel are found to be affecting sim performance they will be returned to you.

9. Pre-existing Decor & Landscaping:
Any decor and/or landscaping items on your parcel owned by estate managers CANNOT BE RETURNED.  Please do not return these items on your parcel as it will disrupt the landscaping that ensures cohesive themes throughout the sim. If there is something you dislike please contact estate management to have it removed and/or replaced with something different.  In addition, the region is landscaped to different themes.  In order to maintain continuity of this theme, we ask that if you wish additional landscaping (added trees, plants, etc) to contact estate management as we will gladly do this for you.

10. Claiming/Purchasing Parcels & Refunds:
You can reserve an available parcel by submitting a rental application.

Once you have been approved, the parcel of your choice will be set for sale for you only, so you can enjoy full parcel controls, privacy features, media, ban/allow lists, etc.

If you are not planning on renewing your rental period, please make sure to mark on your rental box. Once you have indicated you will not be staying, this notifies the staff.  If you have remaining time on the rental and would like a refund please let us know. PLEASE NOTE: remaining time is refunded if and when, we find another tenant to claim the rental. Only then will the remaining time be refunded. Thank you for your understanding.

11. Parcel Settings & Permissions:
Parcels are deeded to the Chambord Estates group. As a resident here, with the Chambord Resident tag, you will have permissions to control many of the critical options in Parcel Details. "Anyone Can Visit"  in the "About Land" window under the "Access" tab will be required as this will prevent ban lines. For total security, you must use the Land-Security Orb provided to you on your rental unit platform for the duration of your rental. It is strongly recommended to keep the Orb active at all times.

Parcel Permissions for Residents:
-Change music & media settings
-Modify environment settings and day cycle
-Always allow Fly
-Always allow Create Objects
