Chambord Estates
1. NO AGE PLAY. NO CHILD AVATARS. This is an adult sim and there will be no exceptions. Avatars, while visiting Chambord Estates must have be in appearance of adult age. This means no avatars whom look child-like or young adolescent-like will be tolerated. You will be asked to change into a more adult avatar or be removed from sim.
2. RESPECT EVERYONE. Be respectful of others. There is a zero-tolerance policy on disrespect, intolerance, and ignorant behavior. This means we do not permit racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, hate-speech, bullying or discrimination against any person or group of people. Disregarding this is grounds for IMMEDIATE removal and possible banning from the region.
3. BOUNDARIES & CONSENT. Respect personal space and limits. This is an adult sim where everyone is free to meet, play, explore, and role play in a intimate manner. Our requirement is that it is done with consent, consideration, and a polite attitude toward one another. Respect an individual's limits, requests, and personal space. Do not infringe on people if they are actively engaged in adult activities, photography, or otherwise.
4. ROLE PLAY. General role play etiquette is required. While Chambord is not a dedicated RP sim, open roleplay is permitted as long as members understand Chambord Estates is a gathering of mixed and shared spaces, therefore strict RP rules simply can not be adhered to the region. In the event of active role play on the sim please be considerate of the RP session. The sim is filled with various spots for hanging out, photo-ops, role play, sexual play and exploration.
5. DRESS CODE. Dress code? There is no dress code for the sim! Any parties/events promoted for the sim will always include information regarding whether or not the event requires a costume or specific dress, but it will never be strictly enforced as long as you are not creating a disturbance or disrupting sim functionality. Nudity is 100% acceptable here, however, please do not walk around with erect genitalia or bodily fluids all over your body for extended periods of time.
6. PROHIBITED ACTIVITES. Begging, soliciting, escorting, scamming, or financial domination of any kind is prohibited within the region. There are plenty of other sims where that is allowed, tolerated, or appropriate. This is not one of them. This is a place where you can enjoy many things outside of those few. Violation of this rule will result in region ejections and an estate ban.
7. GROUP MEMBERSHIP. The Chambord Estates group join fee is currently set to only L$1. This is to prevent scammers, bots, malicious alts, and other avatars with no payment information from invading and misusing the group or exploiting its members. As we grow, there is a possibility that the group join fee will increase, however, for the time being, we want this to be as accessible as possible to those who respectfully vibe with the region.
If you are an existing current member when the join fee increases, you will be grandfathered in and will not be expected to pay anything extra. However, if you are removed from the group due to your own actions, there will be no refund of your group join fee.
Users will be held accountable for their own behavior and conduct on the Chambord Estates region and in the group chat. Rules & Guidelines are available to read BEFORE joining the group at landing point, as well as, listed on the website. It is your responsibility to read and adhere to the guidelines set forth for this community, and doing so will insure that you remain a part of this wonderful group.
No refunds will be given if you accidentally leave the Chambord Estates group so please take care while cleaning out your groups! Any viewer warns you before you leave a group, therefore, there is no such thing as "accidentally" leaving a group.
8. GROUP CHAT. Please be mindful of its usage and frequency. Try to keep chat to Chambord Estates related topics or to notify the group of impromptu gatherings on the sim that you wish others to join. Any questions about Chambord Estates or events taking place here may be asked in chat and we encourage members to help those unaware of policies or in need of help and/or information.
Spam and personal use of the group chat is not permitted. If you wish to not see group chat please open the Chambord Estates group profile and un-check the box "Receive group instant messages." Excessive personal use of group chat, especially comments that are deemed to be inflammatory, argumentative or that do not follow the guidelines is grounds for termination of group membership. Do not use group chat as a conversation tool - it is not what the chat is to be used for. Please, take all personal chats to IM. Using the chat as your personal classifieds, or advertising, etc. will result in ejection.
9. VOICE CHAT. Voice is disabled on the publicly accessible areas of Chambord Estates. If you choose to use voice while visiting you will need to privately call unless a resident has chosen to have voice enabled on their parcel.
10. REZ CAPABILITIES. There is an open build option for group members by request on the sim in order to be able to rez items for photos or play such as pose balls and photo enhancements (ie equipment, lighting or props). Do not leave items on the sim or they will be returned. Large, obstructive, or distracting items and items that spam sounds, chat or excessive particles are not allowed. If you would like building permissions, please request such to management. You will need to join the Chambord Estates group.
11. ENFORCEMENT. In the event of someone not following these guidelines, whether on the Chambord Estates region, or within the group chat please contact Chambord Estates management via notecard or IM with details of the incident ASAP and include UUIDs of offenders with screenshots if possible. They will evaluate the severity of the situation and determine the appropriate course of action. Minor infractions will be dealt with by a warning. Repeated or more severe violations will be managed with ejection and/or estate ban.
12. RESIDENTIAL RESPECT. While the privacy of rented parcels are managed by the residents that inhabit the space, please respect the rented parcel boundaries on the map and try not pass through them unless specifically invited by the resident there. Repeated intrusions onto private rentals without permission is grounds for ejection and possible estate ban.
